When in doubt, baskets of edible fruit are almost always a good choice when you have to buy someone a present for a special occasion.

I’ve been buying them as gifts for Christmas and other special occasions and always get a good response. I guess people like the idea of it, or maybe they feel good about eating healthy. Whatever the reason, they always seemed to go over very well.

I usually go to a local market that sells baskets of fruit, although this holiday season I decided to try some online shops. I’ve seen the most beautiful fruit baskets online and just have to try them.

I don’t know if baskets of fruit are appropriate for all occasions, but I have had a number of instances in my life where they were the perfect gift. Even if the fruit is not eaten, the basket makes a gorgeous decoration, especially during the Christmas season.
