Government grants for single mothers are a form of award distributed by the United States Government to single mothers who need a helping hand. They are available from numerous grant making agencies or other organizations.
Some of this grant money can be used to go back to school and further your education and other grant money can be used to just help makes ends meet. Grants are a great way for single mothers to find assistance.
The government understands that it is difficult to raise a child without the partner’s income and hence provides grants to single mothers who can prove that they need it. Currently, there are 900 grant programs running, which categorize the programs into 21 broad categories, including education, arts, energy, housing, humanities, science and technology, transportation and many more.
