I always take fitness seriously. I used to be a total gym rat, hitting the weight room and treadmill 5 times a week without fail. However, knee and foot injuries forced me to stop running and a few other high-impact exercises that I use to rely on to keep me in shape. That is a pretty big blow, to say the least.
I really do not know what to do at first, but after talking to several coaches at the gym, Pilates and decided to give yoga a try. This is not something that initially appealed to me, especially because I always thought it perfectly well and ready dressed women walking around their exercise mats tucked under their arms seemed a bit grandiose. But once I got past this first impression, I was hooked.
