Pet Sitting is a specialty career that is great for anyone who loves animals in animal related careers. It is also great for a person who maybe doesn’t have his or her own pet because of a specific situation.

With this career you will spend your time moving from house to house as a caretaker for families who are on vacation or out of town. You may also just do home visits, where you would go to the home each day, or a few times a week, to take care of the pets left there while the family is out of town. This animal related career does not require any special education studies, however the more experience you have with animals will benefit you.

It does require maturity, good transportation, an insurance policy to protect you should anything happen to an animal in your care, your strong sense of responsibility as an animal related career.
